Very cute movie. I have watched it with my daughter and enjoyed it too. It arrived quickly as promised.Our grandson LOVES the Home Alone movies so this was a great find for him. We have all of them.Great movie!We love the first three Home Alone movies. Yes, I said three - the third one is great even though there is a whole new cast and it's not Christmas themed.I decided to give this one a chance even though the reviews were not great.The reviews were right. There were cool aspects to the movie. I like the house and I like the idea of a secret basement room. But in the first three movies, there was a gag a minute. The bad guys REALLY took a beating. Not in this movie. It seemed like there was maybe a quarter the number of bad guy beatings. In short, the movie was kind of slow. One might say boring.I probably won't ever watch it again.I ordered this for my 7 year old son. I had been trying to get him into some of the "oldies" from when I was younger. He fell in love with the original Home Alone and Home Alone 2. This one is NOTHING in my opinion, like the originals. NOTHING. It is scary and doesn't match the audience that the originals do. I was very disappointed that the description didn't describe how scary it was or the real premise. My son doesn't scare easily and quickly tells other kids or friends that "things aren't real" or "we know its fake, don't worry." This was different, it wasn't like a scary Scooby Doo or Monsters Inc - it was for much older kids. I am not a movie rater - but I would say much closer to PG-13 - although I am sure it doesn't match up to that level. But having 10, 8, and 7 year olds in the house - I can tell you that all of them wanted it turned off and were scared for several days. I guess to be fair, my review is based on my statements not the actual movie. Although, that too was very poor compared to the good old ones!I had some problems with the Dvd they sent me, it took a while, but I am impressed with there solving problem and they did in a timely manner, and they understood I was in the process of moving ,, and when I was settled, I wrote them back, they sent me a new DVD and it worked well... Thanks for solving my problem.. I would refer anybody to the company. I think if a company can solve problems and how they solve the problem, really tells if they company is really good or not.. The movie however, all I can say is why did they bother to continue the series? It was only the first 2 films which were really great.Another home alone, made to exploit fans of the original. To be honest it's complete crap but for some bizarre reason my 2 little ones like it. As an adult you will hate it, trust meBought for my grandson who loves Home Alone. He really enjoyed this one too. Would recommend.This film is so underrated. They've brought it into the Technical era and yet is so funny. The diversity in the thieves is refreshing too. The traps are more realistic.I bought it for the grand kids, and they love it.
