The New Seekers owed much of their extraordinary success to Eve Graham, whose distinctive voice can be heard on such classic hits as ''Look What They've Done To My Song Ma'', ''I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing'', ''Circles'', ''Beautiful People'', ''Nickel Song'' and many more. Eve was born near Auchterarder in Perthshire and began her professional singing career with the Cyril Stapleton Orchestra. In 1969 she became a founder member of The New Seekers, who were undoubtedly one of the major success stories of the seventies. Eve sang the lead vocal on the majority of the group's hits, achieving worldwide fame which stands to this day. ''I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing'' became known throughout the world as the ''Coca Cola'' song and in 2005 it was voted the greatest song ever used in a TV commercial. Eve has been widely respected in the music business over the years as a ''singer's singer'', admired by rock stars, jazz singers and folk singers.
